Mordanting with Alum Acetate is a branching scenario built in Storyline 360 for natural dyers who want to understand what mordant is, how to make and use one, and why it matters. The course covers mordant basics before opening into an interactive dye studio where learners choose between cochineal and logwood dye pots, drag their fabric into the pot, and wait out a simulated 30-minute dye bath.
The branching structure lets learner curiosity drive the experience, as both dye paths are available, and learners are invited to try the other after completing one.
