Getting to Know the Kombucha SCOBY is a microlearning course built in Rise 360. It is for beginner home fermenters who are curious and perhaps confused about how their kombucha culture works. The course moves the learner from understanding how a SCOBY works, to making their own, to knowing what to do when it looks wrong.
All assets are original illustrations made in Procreate. The illustrations aim to make a slightly weird biological subject feel more approachable without dumbing it down.
